The Vocational Recovery Service supports people who are under the care of West London NHS Trust and who have employment-related issues. It works with people who are engaged with the recovery and early intervention teams. It is part of the mental health integrated network teams (MINT).
Services offered include:
- help with job retention – such as advice about your rights at work, advocacy and support at workplace meetings, recommendations about workplace adjustments and adaptations, and assistance with back to work planning
- support with finding a work experience placement to build skills and confidence in the workplace
- vocational courses through The Recovery College , including skills for employment, work and benefits courses, and work/life balance.
